Q. It's my first time coming to a community class. What do I need to know?

It's your first time - great! Simply arrive to class about 10 minutes prior to the start time so you can meet your instructor and find a spot. You'll also need to fill out your registration waiver once you arrive or submit it in advance online HERE. If you have any concerns or injuries that may affect your ability to do yoga, PLEASE let your instructor know so they can help you adjust your practice as needed.

Q: What should I bring?

All classes are BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat. We also encourage you to bring a water bottle so you can stay hydrated. For outdoor classes, don't forget your sunscreen! If you must have your phone with you, please keep it on silent :) If you have your own props, feel free to bring whatever you need to assist your practice!

Q: Do I have to register in advance?

Simply bring a friend and jump in! No need to pre register, but we would suggest getting there a few minutes early so you can pick out your spot.

Q. What if I've never done yoga before?

No problem! Most of our classes are all-level and can be adjusted to your ability and comfort level. Please let you instructor know if it's your first time doing yoga so they can give you some extra tips and pointers before you start. When you get to your first class, just have fun! Don't worry about memorizing the poses or getting yourself aligned perfectly - that will come with time! If there's any pose or movement we cover in class that doesn't feel good in your body, remember you can always skip it!

Q: What if I have an injury?

Please use your best judgement. If you think it's safe to practice, we'd love to have you, but know your limits, rest when you need to, and skip any poses that may aggravate it. If you're not sure, then it may be best to skip class this month and see how you feel next time.
