Come Join Surfrider and NAVAWELL for free yoga on the beach and help keep our coastline clean! Start your day with an invigorating all-level yoga class! Move with the rhythm of the waves to energize your body, calm your mind, and awaken your senses. Then join the members of the Newport Beach Chapter as they pick up debris around the Santa Ana river mouth to keep it free of waste and our oceans clean. It's a great opportunity to do something good for yourself and also do something good for the environment. Bring yourself, bring your friends! All ages, abilities, and levels of experience welcome!

Your own beach towel and/or yoga mat, water if you need it (reusable non-plastic bottles encouraged!), and sunscreen. Clean-up supplies will be provided by the Newport Beach chapter.

NOTE: Please check the weather the day of and dress accordingly. Since the morning ocean air can be cool, dressing in layers is always a good idea. Just wear something comfortable that allows you to move! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and those under 18 must have their participation waiver signed by a parent/guardian. All participants must sign a participation waiver prior to the start of class. You can download a copy and bring it with you here.

Free street parking on and around Seashore Drive. Pay-Parking lot also available (city lots $1.75/hr) at Seashore & Highland as well as on both sides of Prospect St on Seashore. Public Bathrooms available at Seashore and Orange, all within quick walking distance of the meeting site for yoga.
